Friar Tux Feature

Well this was way too cool not to share.

My pictures I took for my bros prom last year were featured on Friar Tux Shops blog today! Take a look!

Location: Mission San Juan Capistrano
Photographer: Alaina Kraning of A Kreative Kraning
Friar Tux Shop Selection: Black Lorenzo Tuxedo

Mission San Juan Capistrano couldn’t be a more perfect place for a prom photo shoot! Kalen and Celest were lucky to be shot by Kalen’s sister, Alaina Kraning, who is a professional photographer. It’s not always easy to know how to pose for prom photos so these ideas are very helpful. Some of the poses they did are: a kiss, holding hands, dancing, laughing, dipping and sitting on a bench. Try various poses for your prom photos so that you’ll have lots of options to choose from when you see the final images.
The mission has a natural beauty with Spanish culture that goes perfect with the style choices for Kalen and Celeste of Yorba Linda High School. Kalen is wearing our slim fit Black Lorenzo Tuxedo with a black bow tie. His tuxedo has a shawl lapel, which has been a popular trend for celebrity red carpet events. Celeste is wearing a prom dress with a mermaid silhouette from the Los Angeles Fashion District. She accessorized with a rhinestone hair brooch to match her earrings for some sparkle. For couples that want a little bit of color, the roses on their corsage and boutonniere had just the right amount of red for a slight pop of color. Overall, it was a beautiful neutral palette for their prom style.
